Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions (‘booking conditions’) form the basis of your contract with Wings Luxe ABN 95 202 046 025 (‘Wings Luxe ‘, ‘Wings Luxe Travel’, ‘we’ or ‘our’)

Please read these booking conditions carefully as they set out both parties respective rights and obligations. By booking your journey and paying the deposit, you (referred to in these booking conditions as ‘you’ or ‘guest’) have read these booking conditions and agree to be bound by them.

References in these booking conditions to your ‘journey’, ‘getaway’, ‘multi-generational journey’, daydreamer’ or ‘tour’ are references to the tour you have booked with Wings Luxe. References to ‘excursions’ and ‘experiences’ are references to short trips or tours and or experiences that may be included or available as part of your journey. 

We may modify our booking conditions without notice at any time where such amendment does not substantially affect your rights and obligations. If any changes to the booking conditions substantially affect your rights and obligations, we will notify you of these changes as soon as practicable.

By booking a journey or getaway and paying the deposit, you (referred to in these booking conditions as ‘you’ or ‘guest’) agree that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these booking conditions.

References in these booking conditions to your ‘journey’, ‘getaway’ or ‘daydreamer’ are references to the tour that you have booked with Wings Luxe. References to ‘excursions’ and ‘experiences’ are references to short trips, tours or experiences that are or may be included or available as part of your journey.


The booking price for your tour is as set out on our website, on our brochures and flyers unless it is varied by us after the date of publication and notified to you. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) per person, unless stated otherwise.

Taxes and charges imposed by suppliers or third parties, are subject to change. Wings Luxe also reserves the right to adjust prices to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange rates.

DEPOSITS

To secure your booking the following deposits are required at the time of booking:

(a)Australian Domestic Discovery Journey – $200 per person

International Journey – $1500 per person

FINAL PAYMENTS

(b) A further 50% per person, per journey, is due 180 days prior to journey start date

(c) Full payment for your journey, is due 120 days prior to journey start date.

d)Credit Card and PayPal payments. You will receive a final journey invoice for bank imposed fees and charges.

BOOKING RESERVATIONS MADE LESS THAN 120 days BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF JOURNEY

Full payment is required. 

Wings Luxe reserves the right to cancel any booking, tour or refuse to include any guests where journey payments have not been received by us in accordance with Wings Luxe booking conditions and within the specified time.

CREDIT CARD, PAYPAL SURCHARGE

A 2.9% surcharge is applicable for payments made to Wings Luxe made via Credit Card or PayPal. These surcharges will be itemised on a Final payment invoice)

DIRECT BANK TRANSFER between Australian banks

No fees or surcharges are applicable 

TRAVEL AGENTS

If you elect to book through your travel agent they may forward deposits and payments to Wings Luxe on your behalf, however payment to your travel agent does not constitute receipt of those funds by Wings Luxe. 

Wings Luxe does not accept any responsibility or liability in respect to any funds paid to your travel agent. When Wings Luxe are in receipt of any funds that you have paid to your travel agent we will notify you with your booking confirmation and a payment receipt.

JOURNEY INCLUSIONS

Please read the specific journey itinerary for inclusions. If indicated, the following are included: all gratuities, sightseeing, meals, accommodation, airport group transfers on arrival at and departure from your destination at designated times and on the journey commencement and completion dates, unless otherwise stated and the services of an Journey Host.

JOURNEY EXCLUSIONS

This includes but is not limited to: passport and entry visa charges, travel insurance, personal purchases, vaccinations,  personal expense money, items of a personal nature ( bar bills, laundry bills, phone calls and mini bar bills), expenses incurred for items purchased away from the journey (additional meals, coffee, drinks, tours, transport and transfers), excess or oversized luggage, all beverages including alcohol are at your own expense.

ROOM TYPES

Accommodation in hotels will be in a ‘standard room’, regardless of the rating (sometimes referred to as ‘superior/deluxe’) based on twin share or doubles. Requests for a particular bedding configuration must be made at time of booking.

SOLO TRAVELLERS

A limited number of single rooms may be available upon request. Wings Luxe can endeavour to match solo travellers with our solos by arranging for them to share a room.  When solo occupancy is requested (and available) an additional cost will be incurred.

NON SMOKING

Wings Luxe journeys do not permit smoking on the grounds or or inside our accommodation nor in any restaurants, sites or special locations that our journey takes us.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

If you have a special dietary request please advise us at the time of booking. If reasonable, we will endeavour to accommodate, however at times this may not be possible and we ask that you take responsibility for food choices when applicable.

GUESTS REQUIRING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

Guests who have a disability or special needs are welcome on a Wings Luxe journey provided that they are accompanied by a paying companion that can and will provide all of the necessary care and assistance that is required. 

Any disability or medical condition requiring special attention must be reported to Wings Luxe at the time of booking so that we can make reasonable efforts to accommodate those needs. If a hotel, restaurant, transport or any other independent supplier denies the services required by the disable or special needs guest Wings Luxe will not be held responsible.

Wheelchairs and walkers cannot be carried on mini vans or coaches due to space limitations.

VISAS AND PASSPORTS

It is the responsibility of all guests to have a valid passport ( with at least 6 months validity before the expiry form the final date of travel) plus 4 blank pages 


Although Wings Luxe endeavours to provide you with all the services confirmed at the time of your booking your journey, including excursions and experiences, we reserve the right to amend, cancel or make substitutions for any component without prior notice to you, including hotels, if in Wings Luxe opinion, the situation requires a change or cancellation of arrangements. 

ITINERARY 

Your itinerary is a subject to alteration without notice, it is a guide only. We reserve the right to amend a journey itinerary due to various reasons and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Wings Luxe will not be liable for any costs that may be incurred by you because of changes to the itinerary that have been deemed by Wings Luxe as necessary. Every effort will be made to operate journey itineraries as planned, however alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued.

CHANGES DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE

If Wings Luxe is required or elects in its absolute discretion (whether directly or through its employees, contractors, subcontractors or agents) to make a change or cancel a booking (or any part of it, including excursions or experiences) due to force majeure (for example: political unrest, war or threat of war, riots, civil unrest, closure of airports, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, fire, nuclear or natural disasters, epidemic or pandemic events, acts of God, changes in law and regulations, travel warnings, adverse weather conditions and advices issued by relevant authorities we will either: a) terminate the booking contract (in whole or part) in whichever circumstance no refund will apply or b) change your travel arrangements as reasonably practicable to ensure your safety. Additional costs may apply. Wings Luxe accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any cancellation or changes to your journey due to an event of force majeure. It is your responsibility to ensure travel insurance adequately protects you in the event of force majeure cancellation.

 

 

 

All cancellations must be received by Wings Luxe in writing. Cancellations will be effective on receipt of written notification.

* If you journey has commenced there is no refund for unused services or portions of the journey that are missed or not used.

INDEPENDENT PROVIDERS 

Our journeys may include the services of independent suppliers including but not limited to: hoteliers, accommodation providers, ferry operators, coach operators, transport providers and other operators who are not agents, servants or employees of Wings Luxe or over whom Wings Luxe has no direct control (Independent suppliers / Independent Providers)

We take care in selecting independent service providers and the excursions and experiences offered and conducted by these independent service providers however Wings Luxe does not accept any responsibility or liability for any acts, omissions, wrong-doing or defaults of these independent service providers whether negligent or otherwise. 

Excursions and experiences may include, but are not limited to: swimming, bike riding, ATV ride, camel ride, snorkelling, hot air ballooning, cooking, hiking, yoga, exercise and pampering treatments. You accept and assume full responsibility for any perceived risk involved in these activities. Wings Luxe accepts no responsibility or liability for death, illness, injury, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused your your own acts or omissions in deciding to partake in or undertake in an excursion or experience.

To the maximum extent permitted by the law, Wings Luxe aggregate liability to you arising in connection with these booking conditions:

a) is limited to and will not exceed the Journey Price

b) excludes liability for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage arising in connection with these booking conditions. (Including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, loss of time, loss of revenue, loss arising our of claims by third parties and lost opportunities)

PHOTOGRAPHY and VIDEOS

Photographs and videos will be taken whilst on a journey. These images may be used as promotional purposes or as marketing material, online, in print and on social media platforms. Credit will not be given form images taken by a guest and shared with Wings Luxe to these platforms. By booking a journey with Wings Luxe you acknowledge acceptance and give permission for the use of and release of these photographs and videos without any further consent required by Wings Luxe.

MINIMUM NUMBER OF GUEST

All Journeys, Getaways and Daydreamers require a minimum number of guests to operate. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled journey and offer an alternative journey or to cancel your journey and refund the monies paid to Wings Luxe.

GOVERNING LAW –

These booking conditions are governed by the laws in force in Queensland, Australia.
